The Rhythm of Nature and Women

Hi, y’all! Johanna here from the TX Soil Sisters.

(Show below w/ links of things we talk about. Or skip my fluff and listen here.)

Crystal and I were excited to collaborate with the sister duo Kari Collins and Kelsey Kruzona of True Femme Collective to discuss the rhythm of nature and women.

Kelsey and Kari were raised 'holistically' before it was cool. In the 1990s and 2000s, their mother made bold lifestyle changes: going organic, using plants as medicine, eliminating toxic products, and choosing not to vaccinate. In honor of their late mother, they are now launching a pure botanical-based skincare line specifically tailored to the cyclical nature of a woman’s skin.

Kari and Kelsey share stories about their family's lifestyle transition, their father's battle with cancer, and their mother's influence. The sisters discuss the science behind women's monthly cycles, the value of phase-specific skincare and eating whole foods, when to fast, and the detrimental effects of dehydration and synthetic ingredients.

We touch on collaborating with siblings, the power of a shared mission, and the parallels between human health and soil health.

Explore the 'how and why' behind True Femme Collective's botanical body products - designed to align with women's natural hormonal rhythms to feed the body what it needs through the skin with hydrating, anti-inflammatory, and adaptogenic ingredients.

Happy farming and healthy living, y’all!

Love,

Jo (and Crystal) ❤️
