Join American Farmland Trust at Windy Bar Ranch to learn about cover crops, how they benefit a ranching operation, and how to implement them.
Texas Grazing Network mentor, Michael Klein, has a wealth of experience with cover crops and will lead a discussion on how he implements them on his ranch, how they allow him to graze through the winter and improve his soil health and animal performance along the way.
We'll go over seed selection, equipment, options for planting, and we'll go out into the pasture to learn about his cool season cover crop.
